Good point about the swim suits. After I posted I thought…oops November. Here’s the scoop. The answer is maybe or maybe not, but there is also a question about whether they will have the water features running at that time of year. You could call ahead an check. If the weather is nice they may be running it over Thanksgiving break if that is when you will be visiting.

Often in November we have Indian Summer here in Carlsbad. I have spent several Thanksgiving days in our relative’s pool. If so, the water would be a bit chilly, but a trip to the beach could be fun. (If the kids have spring suits and you can bring them, that might also work). Keep an eye on the weather channel as you get closer to your trip so you know how to prepare. You can also just contact me via twitter or Twitter Moms and I’ll let you know what I’m seeing.

I would definately plan to spend a full day. There is plenty of ground to cover. Bring your swim suits and some towels. The water play area is really fun.

I love Miniland. Since we went, my son wants to go to Vegas. I keep telling him it’s not as cute as the one in Legoland. He’ll have to see for himself.
