Lego Starwars Day is something that every 5-12 year old boy should have the chance to experience at least once. Think “kid-friendly version of Comi-Com”. Justin loves all the elaborate Star Wars Costumes and amazing Lego models built by adult fans. This year they had a several fun activities including one where everytime the kids were approached by storm troopers they had to respond “We are not the ones you are seeking.” There are also costume contests and building events. If you missed Lego Starwars Day, make sure that you keep an eye out for it in Fall 2009. Be warned though, the park is very busy that day and there will be long lines for many of the rides.
Happy Trails,
Bridget

Picture this: You are standing in the hallway and hear two voices coming coming from the children’s bedroom. One is saying something about a light saber and the other is singing the theme song from Star Wars. You peek into the room and see two GIRLS, each one holding a Barbie doll and magical fairy wands that make magic sound when you shake them. The Barbies appear to be having a sword fight worthy of Yoda and Darth Vader.
I think there are some major girl geeks out there who would love Lego Star Wars Day. Thanks for the tip!
Point well taken, T! I loved Lego Star Wars day last year. This year I stayed home because I was recovering from a very bad cold and Destiny is spooked by storm troopers. Hopefully this is just a temporary condition and she will be standing up to them as Padame soon.
